NoteMide calculation methodology
NoteMide explains the calendar convention behind each result so visitors can use it responsibly.
Calculation methodology
Calendar calculations use month-aware rules rather than assuming every month has the same length. Business-day tools normally exclude weekends and can apply selected holiday dates. Timezone tools use IANA identifiers and the selected date to apply UTC offsets and daylight-saving rules. A conversion can land on the previous or next local date, so rollover warnings are shown. Empty or malformed inputs are rejected. Range tools explain whether reversed dates produce a signed difference or an unsigned count; duration and age tools reject invalid chronology.
Use the information carefully
Use the relevant calculator page for the detailed rule, worked example, assumptions, and limitations. NoteMide is a planning resource rather than a government, legal, tax, financial, or employment authority. Confirm consequential dates with the responsible official source or policy.
