Who this policy covers

NoteMide is an independent date and time calculation website. This policy applies to our website and email enquiries, not to external websites you choose to visit. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@notemide.com. No account is required to use our core calculators.

Calculator inputs stay in your browser

Dates, birth dates, times and other calculator values are processed by the website's calculation code in your browser. We do not send those input values to a NoteMide calculation server or maintain an account-based database of your results. Copy, share, print and calendar-download actions are initiated by you; information you share may be handled by your chosen app or recipient.

Please do not enter personal or sensitive information into holiday searches or page URLs. Usage tracking is separate from the calculator processing described here.

Browser storage and preferences

We use localStorage, a form of browser storage, to remember manually selected language and holiday country, region and year preferences, and to remember dismissal of an announcement. We also keep a local queue of up to 100 recent usage events for diagnostics. This queue is not a database of your calculator inputs. These records can persist until replaced or removed by clearing this site's stored data in your browser. Clearing storage also resets remembered preferences.

Usage analytics and technical information

The website currently includes an Umami-compatible analytics integration hosted at manus-analytics.com. When available, it receives usage events such as page and calculator views, holiday search terms, selected language or country, resets and copy, share, print or download actions. Events include page path and language; result-action events identify the action and tool, rather than sending your calculated answer. This helps us identify useful tools and usability problems.

Hosting, analytics and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and request timestamps when responding to requests. We do not promise that every third-party request is anonymous or that server records follow the same retention rules as local browser storage.

Email contact and service providers

The Contact page is email-only and has no submission form. If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your enquiry, investigate a correction or handle a privacy request. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive documents. Our email and hosting providers process information needed to deliver these services.

Our client page also uses Google Fonts, which may involve requests to Google's servers for font resources. Other linked services apply their own policies when you use them. We do not sell your calculator inputs or email messages, and we do not use your email address as an advertising targeting identifier.

Google advertising disclosures

The current application contains AdSense account-verification metadata but does not include Google ad-serving code or ad slots. If Google AdSense or other advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to serve, measure or personalize ads. Google's advertising cookies may enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites or apps.

Google explains this processing in its partner-site data and advertising information linked below. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and browser cookie settings. Turning off personalization does not necessarily stop all advertising or technical processing.

Where legally required, advertising cookies, storage and personalized-ad data use require valid consent, appropriate records and a way to withdraw it. Personalized Google publisher ads for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland require a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. This policy is not a consent banner or a certified consent-management platform; the necessary setup must be completed before such advertising is activated.

Your choices, retention and requests

You can clear this site's browser storage, manage cookies or block third-party resources through your browser. Blocking optional analytics or fonts does not change the calculation rules, though appearance or measurement may be affected. A browser setting alone may not withdraw an advertising consent already stored by an external provider; use that provider's controls if advertising is enabled.

We keep email correspondence only as needed to handle the enquiry, maintain relevant correction records and meet applicable obligations. Provider records may be retained under their own policies. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of information, object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant privacy authority. Email hello@notemide.com to make a request; we may need proportionate information to confirm that it relates to you. Retention and request handling remain subject to applicable law and the relevant provider policies.

Children, security and policy updates

NoteMide is a general-purpose planning resource, not a service specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly request children's personal information; contact us if you believe it has been included in an email. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, email service or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Services and disclosures may change; significant updates will be reflected on this page with a new update date.
